Facilitation Skills Certification

As we move away from the ‘command and control’ way of working, and are driven by the need to work in a more collaborative way, the Facilitation Skills Foundation and Practitioner certification is becoming increasingly important for managers of all disciplines.

Effective facilitation enables a smoother process for interactions that lead to quality decisions, and greater buy-in and commitment. This increases the group’s productivity, resolves issues earlier and improves the delivery of organisational goals.

We offer this professionally recognised facilitation qualification, accredited by APMG International, as:

  • Open courses: public certification training that anyone can attend throughout the year
  • In-company courses: training to meet your organisation’s specific needs, at a time and location convenient to you

We also offer non-accredited short courses.

Facilitation Skills in-company courses

Some clients have their own guidelines and frameworks in place for facilitating groups. In-company training allows us to reference your frameworks, current processes and specific terminology and map these to the Process Iceberg® Methodology that this programme is based on. This makes it easier for people to relate the new concepts covered to their work in the most effective way. It also means your teams can work with ‘live’ examples during course activities, making the programme even more relevant and effective.

Training to meet your specific needs

In-company training allows you to see your specific processes, and internal language reflected throughout the course. This means that the full context of your change programme – including the pace of change, the teams affected, and the level of change that’s considered ‘normal’ for you, will be taken into consideration. It also means your teams can incorporate their ‘work in progress’ into course exercises and activities, making the programme even more relevant and effective.

In-company training:

  • Offers you the convenience of choosing when and where the training takes place
  • Minimises travel and accommodation overheads and can be more cost-effective
  • Allows your teams to work with their actual work examples, discuss their specific challenges and find solutions together
  • We get to know your ways of working and methods, before the course begins
  • Post-course support includes follow-ups to review progress
  • You can run this 5 day programme in the most convenient way for you, either over consecutive days or split into separate modules
  • You can select either the full certification course, or shorter bespoke non-accredited options.
