Project Management Training

Each year PMI’s Pulse of the Profession® Global Project Management Survey reinforces the enduring need for organisations to demonstrate strong project management skills to get better business results.

Says the 2016 Pulse report: “[Our] findings continue to reinforce that when organisations embrace project, program, and portfolio management practices, they have better outcomes.”

We are using the term project management as a shortcut for project, programme and portfolio management. Our project management training courses range from introductory level project management awareness sessions, through to management of portfolios, and include globally recognised methodologies such as Agile Project Management (AgilePM®) and PRINCE2®.

Whilst collaboration and flexibility aid innovation and enable a rapid response to the fast-pace of changing business needs, a structured project management approach offers the appropriate level of rigour, control and transparency.

It is also becoming increasingly clear in organisations that effective delivery is just one part of the equation. Just as important is whether or not the ‘right’ initiatives are being worked on and whether the potential return on investment and benefits are realised. Effective portfolio and project management provides senior management the evidence needed for better prioritisation and effective decision making.

What our clients say

"We set out to implement a new framework for project governance, that would give us the flexibility to manage all of our projects, and that is what we achieved. As a result of the training provided by ChangeQuest, our project and programme managers are clear on what is required of them, are able to apply the framework, regardless of whether the teams are using Agile approaches, or traditional waterfall models. They are now better equipped to provide the right level of leadership and direction to their project teams, to enable more effective delivery". Business Programme Manager Public Sector
